In light of the retirement of Fire Chief Walter Tibbetts on June 30, 2022, the Fire Chief Study Committee (formerly known as the Future Fire Department Study Committee) has been formed to consider the structure of the Shutesbury Fire Department going forward.

Note for the week of January 12th: The Fire Chief Study committee will be holding its regularly weekly scheduled meeting at 6PM on Wednesday January 12th instead of at its regularly scheduled 10AM time in order to be accessible to as many town residents as possible. This meeting is not a public forum per se. We will be holding a public information gathering forum on Wednesday January 19th at 6PM. All are welcome on Zoom.
