The Town of Shutesbury is establishing the new Stormwater Mitigation and Implementation Committee (SMIC).

The SMIC is critical!  It moves stormwater management from planning to execution, focusing first on implementing projects to protect Lake Wyola from stormwater runoff and erosion.

We are seeking members with expertise in:

• Project Management / Civil Engineering / Environmental Science

• Finance and Grant Management

• Conservation and Environmental Action

• Lake Wyola Association/Advisory groups

This is a chance to secure funding, oversee construction, and establish long-term maintenance plans to protect our natural resources.
