STITCH-INS AT TOWN HALL
Whether you knit, crochet, darn, needlepoint, embroider or do any other type of stitching, please join us. This activity is co-sponsored by the Shutesbury Public Library and the Recreation Committee.
Please note that these are all 2 weeks apart except for March 29 to April 19.
Improv Workshop
The Improv workshop on February 28 was a great deal of fun. Some participants had never done improv before and others had extensive theater (including improv) experience. Regardless of experience everyone had fun and several asked if we could do another one.
We would definitely enjoy leading another workshop along some of you who brought your expertise!
TRIVIA NIGHT:
Trivia night was a great success!
We don't know yet when the next one will be held but rest assured there will be more!
Shootsbury Soccer Club
The Shootsbury Soccer Club is looking forward to the spring. This casual soccer meet-up is open to ages 3 to 10 and takes place Sundays in the fall and spring from 9-10 AM at the Shutesbury Elementary School. We'll post here and send out a town-wide email when a start date has been decided.
This is a fantastic opportunity for children and families to get active, enjoy the outdoors, and meet new friends in our community. Best of all, it is completely free and no registration is required.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at recreation@shutesbury.org.
The Bike event last spring was a great success and the Recreation Committee plans to offer it again this year. Approximately 20 bikes were serviced and made rideable at no cost to their owners. In addition, the committee organized a children's biking meet-up, which drew about 20 participants. More will be posted when a date is determined.
