
Recreation Committee purpose:
The Recreation Committee develops recreational activities designed to build community and enrich the quality of life in Shutesbury. The Committee sponsors and supports recreational experiences and related educational programming for all age groups.
TRIVIA NIGHT

6:30-8:30 at the Shutesbury Athletic Club 282 Wendell Road, Shutesbury
THE EVENT IS FREE
REGISTRATION (must be 18 to register):
To register, send an email to Recreation@shutesbury.org with the name(s) of participants. Teams will be made up of 4 people. If you are registering fewer than 4 people, we will create teams of 4. So, singles, doubles and triples are all welcome!!
There is a maximum of 52 people (13 teams). A waiting list will be created if needed. Please, if you have registered and find you cannot come, let us know!
As long as there’s space, walk-ins will be accommodated.
PRIZES
Prizes guaranteed to perk you up are awarded after every round.
And the winning team will be awarded a prize that is sure to please!

Whether you knit, crochet, darn, needlepoint, embroider or do any other type of stitching, please join us
The next gathering will be at the new library (!) on February 1 from 9-11. We will send out a Town-Wide Email as well as post here with dates in 2026 soon!
SHOOTSBURY SOCCER CLUB
The Shootsbury Soccer Club is into its second year! This fun and casual soccer meet-up is open to ages 3 to 10 and takes place Sundays in the fall and spring from 9-10 AM at the Shutesbury Elementary School.
This is a fantastic opportunity for children and families to get active, enjoy the outdoors, and meet new friends in our community. Best of all, it is completely free and no registration is required.

IMPROV
Pencil in Saturday, February 28 from 1-3 for an improv workshop led by Christine Marglin and Barbara Bigelow (date and time may change depending on availability of rooms).
SPRING BIKE REPAIRS AND TUNE-UPS
The Bike event last spring was a great success and the Recreation Committee plans to offer it again this year. Approximately 20 bikes were serviced and made rideable at no cost to their owners. In addition, the committee organized a children's biking meet-up, which drew about 20 participants.
