School Committee

The Shutesbury School Committee is the Town's leadership in administering the educational needs of all children within our community.  The Committee works with the Superintendent and in collaboration with the Union 28 Joint Supervisory Committee, the Amherst-Pelham Regional School Committee, the Collaborative for Educational Services, and the Shutesbury Capital Planning Committee.

Committee members are Town Officials, elected at Town Meeting to serve a three-year term.  Member terms begin and end 9 days after Annual Town Meeting, per vote of 5/07/2011 Annual Town Meeting.

School Committee member assignments to represent Shutesbury on those committees can be found here.

The School Committee invites the public to attend its meetings.  You can find the Zoom link and agenda for a posted meeting at MyTownGov or the Town Calendar

School Committee minutes are available here at the SES website or at bottom right of this page.
